Around 1870, Baron Nathaniel Meyer Freiherr von Rothschild commissioned a grand park, including several orchid houses, on Hohe Warte - the world-famous, English-style Rothschild Gardens. During the week, the Baron lived in Renngasse in the centre of Vienna, but he used to spend the weekends at his residence on Hohe Warte, where he also liked to invite good friends and special guests for a summer break. This gave birth to wonderful idea: living as if you were on holiday! Looked after, cared for, pampered. Every day as precious as an orchid. At OrchideenPark, nothing is left to be desired.
