Amstetten and Tulln shopping centres continue success

2016 was a great year for both the City Center Amstetten and Rosenarcade Tulln shopping centres: In Amstetten, the shops welcomed a record number of 2.5 million visitors. And in Tulln, turnover increased by 12 %.

Amstetten shopping centre enjoys increase in number of shoppers

With a 2%-increase in visitors, the shopping centre in Amstetten can look back on a successful business year 2016. In 2017, the biggest inner city shopping centre in Lower Austria will keep focusing on modernising – the aim is to continually improve the mix of shops and the services available.
In 2016, the approximately 70 shops at City Center Amstetten generated a gross turnover of 73.3 million euros, which roughly corresponds to the previous year’s result. This means that, once again, the largest shopping centre in the Mostviertel quarter was above sector average in Austria and is, overall, on a steady course.
With crowd-pullers such as H&M, Intersport, Müller, New Yorker, Billa and various other highly popular local enterprises, the mix of shops at City Center Amstetten is a healthy one and makes the shopping centre a popular meeting place in the region. The owner IG Immobilien is currently investing approximately 5 million euros into the modernisation of the largest inner city shopping centre in Lower Austria.

A successful year for Tulln shopping centre

2016 was a highly successful year for the Rosenarcade Tulln shopping centre: the centre was able to generate a turnover increase of 12% compared to the previous year. With its perfect mix of popular brands and excellent services, the centre managed to increase the number of shoppers by 6%.
In 2016, the roughly 50 shops at Rosenarcade Tulln generated a turnover of approximately 44.7 million euros – this is an increase of 12% compared to the previous year. From January to December 2016, roughly 3.2 million visitors frequented the Rosenarcade shopping centre – an increase of 6 %.
The successful development of Rosenarcade is mainly down to two factors: the perfect inner city location and the balanced mix of shops. In 2016, this mix was once again improved: the number 1 consumer electronics provider Media Markt opened a branch.

Experts in realising inner city shopping centres

The owner and operator IG Immobilien is behind the success of City Center Amstetten and Rosenarcade Tulln.
