The renowned physician Emil Zuckerkandl gave this street its name. He predominantly studied anatomy and anthropology. A number of important insights regarding ENT medicine can be traced back to his studies of the skull. From 1907, a large property on Zuckerkandlgasse belonged to Isidor Mautner. A year later, the undeveloped land was parcelled out into twelve plots. Of these twelve, Starkfriedgasse 62 and Zuckerkandlgasse 23 became the property of the Austrian National Bank in 1945.

Since 1996, IG Immobilien is the new owner. At the heart of the vineyards, two city mansions housing 16 luxury flats have been built. The Vineyard Village fits perfectly and harmoniously into the exclusive residential area. Due to its hillside location, the property offers an unobstructed view across the Döbling vineyards.

The flats all have their own garden or generously proportioned balconies and rooftop terraces. The communal garden, a sanctuary of peace and relaxation, also features a well-equipped children's playground. A Sauna, steam bath and indoor pool complete the picture. A pleasant indoor climate is essential for a comfortable home: electric outside blinds and an air conditioning system guarantee individual well-being.

The location is one of the property's greatest assets: surrounded by vineyards, this is a perfect oasis of peace and relaxation - at the heart of Vienna.
